It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Crosby (Quitman, Mississippi), born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Betty Ann Atchley Brewer and Bobby Dewitt Brewer (Oscar James "Jim") of Clarke County, MS.; and her daughter Shanna Lynn Austin. She is survived by : her children, Dannalie Austin Malvaez (Paul) and Brutus Chad Austin (Melissa); her grandchildren, Robert Paul Malvaez (Audrua), William Chad Austin and Sara Grace Austin; and her sister Jane Pendleton "Penny" Brewer Barber.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations in Babs' honor be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Quitman, MS.
