He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Haney, Jr. and Frances Marie Haney (Shelby Jean Haney); his son Charlie Southern; his great grandchildren, Kinslee Murray and Brad Murray; his siblings, Jimmy Haney, Jackie Haney and Carolyn Haney; his son-in-law Curtis Andrews; and his daughter Ellen Bufkin.
He is survived by: his children, Renea Andrews, Latricia Abston (William), Dyna Lewis (Steve), Scott Haney (Lynn), John Hill (Patricia) and Shawn Hill (Candice); and his brothers, Larry Dale Haney (Carolyn), Royce Haney (Linda) and Ricky Haney. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren, 15 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home (119 E Church St, Quitman, MS 39355). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel (119 E Church St, Quitman, MS 39355).
