She was predeceased by: her parents, Aozie Olen Jones and Lila Tressie Jones (Fletcher); her husband Harley; her grandson Gary Wayne Grant; her great grandchild Makayla Maggard; and her brothers, Hood Jones and Pete Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Lee Grant (Lydia Joan) and Richard G. Grant (Allison); her sister Sue Reed; and her grandchildren, Rob, Bryan, Jessie, Amy, Kelly, Ashley, Joey, Tory, Trevor and Tyler. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home (119 E Church St, Quitman, MS 39355). A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Park Cemetery (2806 Emmy Dr, Laurel, MS 39442).
