Janell Latham Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janell Latham of Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Janell farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Janell is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Teresa Noblin; and her brother Lavelle Rickles. She is survived by: her husband Charlie "C. C." Latham; her brother James "Jim" Rickles; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Latham (Fae) and Annie Sue McRae. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Burwell Cemetery.
