She was predeceased by : her parents, James A. Mathis and Dora Martin Mathis; and her husband W. L. Seale. She is survived by : her children, Ronald Rigdon, Gary Rigdon (Shelia) and Pamela Dempsey; and her grandchildren, Keith Rigdon (Debra), Toni Lewis (Randy), Tina Dearman, Chris Robbins (Karla), Kevin Rigdon (Fran), Bo Robbins, Gabrille Williams, Stevie Moore (Paul), Penny Ryals and Kyle Rigdon (Melody). She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home (119 E Church St, Quitman, MS 39355). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel (119 E Church St, Quitman, MS 39355).
