Nellie R. Harper Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nellie R. Harper of Quitman, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Hennington and Mildred Hennington (Williams); her husband Charles L. Harper; and her brothers, Buddy Hennington, Billy Hennington and Ronnie Hennington.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Carter (Mark), Sam Harper, Larry Harper and Steve Harper (Donna); her siblings, Thomas Hennington and Betty Hennington; and her sisters-in-law, Rene Hennington and Ruby Hennington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
