She was predeceased by : her husband Rufus Watson; her parents, Frank Sanders and Gladys Ruth Bolin Sanders; her son Royce Self Jr.; and her siblings, Carol Spencer, Shirley Melton and Rufus Sanders.

She is survived by : her son Anthony Self of Askew, MS; and her siblings, Gladys Faye Smith of Senatobia, MS, James Sanders (Ollie) of Ripley, MS and Aubrey Sanders (Betty) of Southaven, MS. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
