Raymond Lavon Martin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Lavon Martin of Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on June 25, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Lee Martin and Alma Lee Buckalew Martin; his son Raymond Lee Martin; and his siblings, Clifton Lamar Martin, Mack Martin, Myrtle Martin and Mildred Rasberry.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Martin; his children, Randall Martin (Cindy), Greg Martin (Jean), Leslie Clay, Lisa Furline (Tony) and Rayna Burkis (Todd); his sisters, Ouida Chancellor, Clovis Chancellor, Joyce Waters, Gay Tew (Billy Joe), Veda Faye Massey (Dick) and Gail Pritchett; and his sister-in-law Virginia Martin. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
