He was predeceased by: his parents, Mossie Rodgers and Kate Scott Rodgers; his wife Jeannie Rascoe Rodgers; and his siblings, Carl Rodgers, Ann Graham, Hatty Demeram, Ruth Ames, Kay Beeau and Mary Edna Manley.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Rodgers (Dana) of Quitman, MS, Dennis Rodgers (Cindy) of Meridian, MS, Phillip Rodgers (Tammy) of Butler and Al; his granddaughters, Leah Jimmerson (Kelly), Katelyn Rodgers, Toni McDonald (Ashton) and Kristi Stout (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Kennedi Jimmerson, Kannon Jimmerson, Sadie Catherine McDonald, Lauren Elaine Stout, Alana Stout and Luke Stout.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Rock Springs Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
