She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Dean Johnson, Sr.; her son Van David Johnson; her parents, Grover E'Van Chandler and Hettie Mildred Green Chandler; and her siblings, Grover Allen Chandler, Elizabeth Candace Royals, Hettie Catherine Smith and Thelma Jane Craft.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Dean Johnson, Jr. (Frankie), Anthony Keith Johnson (Tonya) and Clinton Bradley Johnson (Tracy); and her sister Norma Rose Jones. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
