He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Thornton and Selva Mae Thornton; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Webb; and his brother-in-law George Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Guilba Webb; his children, Robert Webb (Shelia), James Webb and Amy Blackwell (Cody); his grandchildren, Cade Blackwell (Makenze) and Eli Blackwell (Regan); his great grandchild Miller Blackwell; his brother Larry Webb (Charlotte); his sister-in-law Quena Roberts; and his brothers, Glen Hayman, Bro. Jimmy Arender, Bro. Anthony Grayson and Bro. Joe Garvin. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the High Hill Baptist Church (SCR 119, Raleigh, MS). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the High Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (SCR 119, Raleigh, MS).
