He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leonard and Alma Pryor Hallman; and his grandson Clay Morgan Hallman. He is survived by: his wife Zenobia Hallman of Raleigh; and his children, Donnie Hallman (Andrea) of Raleigh, Gina Burton of Brandon and Robert Hallman (Jamie) of Raleigh. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Providence Lutheran Church. A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at the Providence Lutheran Church Cemetery.
