With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby H. (Shearer) McNeil of Raymond, Mississippi, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam B. Hutchins and Lucile S. Hutchins; her sisters, Mary Emma Coleman and Virgie Brister; her husbands, Daniel Donovan "Don" Shearer, Sr. and Vernon Carroll McNeil; her son Daniel Donovan "Danny" Shearer, Jr.; and her grandson Andrew Ryan "Drew" Gordon.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane S. Miner (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Donovan and Ashley Miner of Atlanta, GA; her daughter Donna Shearer (Alan Gordon) of Jackson; her granddaughter Jaclynn "Jackie" G. Hinton of Ocean Springs; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kennedy and Adele; and her sisters, Doris Stewart of Pearland, TX and Nancy Noel of Weaverville, NC..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association Mississippi Chapter or Alzheimer's Association national network.
