Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Stephen Derek leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Wigley Johnson and Wilfred Riley "Deck" Johnson; his wife Judy Johnson; and his children, Jennifer Johnson Weaver (Lynn) of Raymond and Charles Michael Johnson (Christy) of Saltillo. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Ridge Hall - St. James' Episcopal Church (3921 Oakridge Dr, Jackson, MS 39216). A requiem service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. James' Episcopal Church.
