It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Breland of Richton, Mississippi, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Jerry Martin and Cary Breland; her parents, Henry Dunn and Jeanette Dunn Loper; and her niece Jeannette "Jampie" McLendon.
She is survived by: her children, J. J. Martin, Jr. of Hattiesburg, Jerri Ann Spiers (Donnie) of Richton, Becky Stephenson (Anthony) of Wiggins, Rosa Johnson (Brian) of Brooklyn and Amanda Breland of Wiggins; and her siblings, Gary Loper of Benndale, Allan Dunn of Brooklyn, James Dunn (Karen), Mary Tyson of Brooklyn, Debbie Carpenter of Wilmer, AL and Becky Dunn. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Grace Chapel Cemetery (2169 US 49, Brooklyn, MS 39425). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
