With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gladys Steele (Richton, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Autry and Bobbie Autry; and her brother Wayne Autry. She is survived by: her children, Brett Steele (Pamela), Meagan Steele Beasley and Marla Steele Tumiel (Brian); her sister Rhonda Cooley (David); her grandchildren, Tyler Kitchens (Alex), Gunner Beasley, Bree McGill (Trevor), Jenna MacDonald (Cole), Nick Cambria, Amelia Steele, Bailee Steele and Addison Steele; and her great grandchildren, Emery Dodd, Emersyn, Henlee McGill, Briggs, Landry MacDonald, Jay and Chris Kitchens.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones and Son Funeral Home (104 Cypress St, Richton, MS 39476). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
