It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Smith of Richton, Mississippi, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, June is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that June's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by : her husband Wallace Smith; and her parents, Jim White and Grace White. She is survived by : her children, Chris Smith (Janice) of Sand Hill, Kim Johnson (Brad) of Pensacola and Josh Smith (Tiffany) of Sand Hill; her grandchildren, Eli Smith, Abby Smith and Nora Kate Smith; and her sister Jean Hinton of Richton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jones & Son Funeral Home-Richton (104 Cypress St, Richton, MS 39476). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jones and Son Funeral Home (104 Cypress St, Richton, MS 39476).
