She was predeceased by : her parents, Sam Pitts and Willie Mae Pitts; her husband David Daw, Sr.; her daughter Shelia "Susie" Waites; and her siblings, G. W. "Bilbo" Pitts, Rudolph "Pete" Pitts, Otha Mae Edwards, Marrion Valentine and Linda Carol Smith.
She is survived by : her son David Daw (Will) of Waynesboro, MS; her siblings, W. S. "Dub" Pitts (Sandra) of Richton, MS and Shelia Hansen (Don) of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Brandon Crouse (Melonee), Monica Mitchell (Tony) of Richton, MS, Myranda Green of Gulfport, MS and Angela Browne (Skylar); her great grandchildren, Brycen, Keyton, Veronica, Lyranda, Benjamin, David, Marcus, Aiden, Paisen, Blakely and Sawyer; and her great great grandchild Bryleigh. She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
