He was predeceased by: his parents, Burwell Beeman McClendon, Sr. and Mae Allred McClendon; his wife Grace Jean Gillespie McClendon; and his sister Dorothy McClendon Bascom of Gulfport, MS.. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn McClendon of Jackson, MS, Burl McClendon (Terri) of Austin, TX and Barry McClendon (Donna) of Georgetown, TX; his granddaughter Mary Grace McClendon Mooney (Ian) of Austin, TX; his children, Emy McClendon Smith (Cole) of Dallas, TX, Taylor McClendon (Holland) of Austin, TX, Anders McClendon of Austin, TX and Avery McClendon of Cedar Park, TX; his great grandchildren, Lynn, Mac and Elouise Mooney of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Palmer and Miller Smith of Dallas, TX.. He is also survived by one niece, four nephews and numerous cousins.
