He is survived by: his wife Gerry Bell Cain; his daughter Carrie Cain McMahon (John) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Shelby McMahon Hunter (John) of Chattanooga, TN, John James McMahon IV of Atlanta, GA and Andrew Crawford McMahon of Birmingham, AL; and his sister Mary Claire Cain Norsworthy (Ralph) of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
