She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinnie Dorothy Parrette Price and Ray Price; her husband Thomas Emerson King, Jr.; and her brother Louie Ray Price, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Emerson King, III (Tammie) of Brandon, MS and Dona Carole King of Jackson, MS; her grandchildren, Cara Leigh Shank of Jackson, MS, Jason Thomas King (Julie) of Huntsville and Anna Laura King of Brandon, MS; her great grandchildren, Chase Lawson, Jayden Shank, Anne Evans King and Darby Emerson King; and her pet Luna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carpenter Cemetery Fund, Clifford Strong, 2010 Hurricane Road, Hermanville, MS 39086 (receipt if needed).
