She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Tharp and Mae Sullivan Tharp; her husband Ed Griffin; and her brothers, Bobby, Fletcher and Sammy Tharp.
She is survived by: her brother Barry (Brenda); her children, Glenn (Maureen) and Cathy Joyner Roberts (Steve); her grandchildren, Adam Griffin (Molly), Eric Griffin (Alex), Catherine Joyner Mejia (Jorge), Thomas Joyner and Alex Joyner; and her great grandchildren, Vincent, Crawford, Annie, Toni and Gigi. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Olde Towne Community Church (220 W Ridgeland Ave, Ridgeland, MS 39157). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Crestview Memorial Gardens (1106 Star Rd, Brandon, MS 39042).
