Gladys I. Vianey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys I. Vianey of Ridgeland, Mississippi, born in Utica, Mississippi, who passed away on October 26, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Pierre Auguste Vianey (Pete); her parents, Annie Ivey and Eddie Ivey; her sister Grace Andrews; and her brothers-in-law, Cooper Andrews, Jimmy Bracey and G. W. Herrington.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Vianey (Janie) of Birmingham, AL and Beth Vianey Fisher (Hal) of Canton, MS.; her grandchildren, Kathryn Fisher, Claire Fisher Gressett (Cole), Sarah Vianey and Chad Vianey; her siblings, Christine Herrington, Joyce Bracey and Eddie Ivey, Jr.; and her husband Pete Vianey.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions to be made to the Mississippi Food Network (BackPack Program) at P.O. Box 411, Jackson, MS 39205-0411.
