She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake D. Tate and Ritta "Essie" Pettigrew; her son Michael D. Gibson; her great grandchildren, Brynlynn A. Quattlebaum and Zachary Michael Gibson; and her siblings, Lee S. Hilton, Jessie D. Sharp, William T. Tate, James F. Tate, Robert L. Tate, Carl D. Tate, Jerry F. Tate, Ritta P. Tate Holiman, P. Elizabeth Tate Aaron and Linda B. Tate Gosney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa A. Gibson Murphy (Tommy) of Ridgeland, MS and Cynthia K. Gibson Ray of Crossett, AR.; her grandchildren, Christopher M. Gibson, Rebecca D. Ray, Leslie "Amber" Quattlebaum and Courtney E. Tipton; her great grandchildren, Caitlin E. Quattlebaum Olson (Christian), River D. Quattlebaum, Zaylee A. Quattlebaum, Alanna J. Gibson, Arya M. Tipton, Layton A. Lee, John David Lee and Dawson Z. Lee; and her great great grandchild Mayzee Grace Olson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bishop-King Funeral Home (1831 South Highway 65 & 82, Lake Village, AR 71653). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
