He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Charles Blue. He is survived by: his mother Janice Gardner Blue; his brother Ernie Blue; his half-siblings, Graham, Ruthie, Nancy and Elizabeth; and his nieces, Audrey Anne Blue Espinoza and Olivia Jorden Blue. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
