He was predeceased by: his parent Glenn Albritton; and his parent-in-law Tommie Albritton. He is survived by: his wife Alexine Albritton Covington; his children, Thomas Michael Covington and Lela Ashley Covington; his granddaughter Addison Covington; his brother-in-law Lawson Albritton (Marcia); and his close friend Dot Knox. He is also survived by four nieces; two nephews.
An active member of First Baptist Church Jackson, he served as Boy Scout leader to Troop 8 at First Baptist Church and as a coach for the First Baptist Church Rock Steady Parkinson's group.
