He was predeceased by: his parents, Sue and Harry Wilson, Sr.; his son Coleman Parker Wilson; his nephew Matthew Wilson; and his parents-in-law, Teenie and Roland Dale.

He is survived by: his grandson Stephen Laporte; his nieces and nephews, Kay and Billy Parker; his wife Christy Dale Wilson; his sister Leigh Wilson Curtis (John); his children, Christian Kelly Wilson and Bess Wilson Laporte; his son-in-law Nick Laporte; and his grandchildren, Leah Nicole, David Alexander and Stephen Gabriel Laporte. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
