He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie Poole Dowd and Walter Tate Dowd; his wife Gina; his children, Matt Dowd (Amanda) of Madison, MS and Jessica Dowd Osborne (Michael) of Atlanta, GA; his sister Ann Dowd Westerman (Charles) of Vienna, VA; and his grandchildren, Tate, Colt, Lucy Dowd, Grant and Kate Osborne. He was also cherished by niece, a nephew, cousins.
