We bid farewell to Sallie Bailey Schott (Ridgeland, Mississippi), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 81. Sallie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Mead Bailey, Jr. and Jean Wilson Bailey; and her husband Edward Schott (Ted). She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. Theodore Mead Bailey, III and Alice Wilson Bailey; her daughter Pauline "Polly" Elizabeth Schott Blair; Randall Robert Blair, Theodore Edward Blair, Claire David Blair, Annie Rachel Schott Mitchell and Erik Joseph Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trace Ridge Baptist Church (238 Lake Harbour Dr, Ridgeland, MS 39157).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The MIND Center at UMMC by mail to 2500 N. State St., Jackson, MS, 39216; or to Trace Ridge Baptist Church at 238 Lake Harbour Dr., Ridgeland, MS, 39157.
