It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Tompkins (Ridgeland, Mississippi), born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bessie Magnolia Miller and Simeon Loe Tompkins; his sister Bessie Lorene Tompkins; his sons, Jeffrey Tompkins (Alice Haining) of East Setauket, N. Y. and Gary Tompkins of Madison; and his grandsons, Jackson Loe Tompkins and Dylan Rose Tompkins.
