With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Homer Nisbett of Ridgeland, Mississippi, born in Cleveland, Mississippi, who passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Wilson Nisbett and Jean Evans Nisbett; and his brother Jean "Kayo" Nisbett. He is survived by: his children, Amy Laura Nisbett Emerson (Clint) and John William Nisbett (Amy Davenport); his grandchildren, Henry, Claudia, Jude, Vivian and Will; his wife Claudia Jackson of Leland; his nieces and nephews, John Winston Nisbett, Stephen Jackson, Ashley Jackson Kutz (Kris), Jayne and Jill Nisbett; his siblings-in-law, Bob Jackson (Sheri) and Edna Nisbett; and his cousins, Janice Graham Hollis (Clyde) and Jimmy Graham.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the benevolence ministry at Meadowbrook Church of Christ.
