He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Burge and Cornelia Ann Barbour Mitchell; his wife Jane Savage Mitchell; and his siblings, Lyman Burge Mitchell Jr. and Margaret Mitchell.
He is survived by: his children, Tricey Mitchell and Tim Mitchell (Stacey); his grandchildren, Logan Mitchell (Olivia) and Dalton Mitchell (Lilly); and his caregiver Renea Johnson.
