He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Dewitt McCollum and Vance Mae Hogue McCollum; and his brothers, William Edward McCollum and Dewitt McCollum. He is survived by: his children, Alan McCollum and Amy M. Butler (Brandon) of Falkner, MS; the mother of his children Terrie McCollum of Ripley, MS; his brother Curtis McCollum (Wanda) of Ripley, MS; and his grandchildren, Christopher McCollum, Hannah Kuykendall (David), Blake Butler, Anna Grace Butler and Kateleen McCollum. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
