He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Martindale and Annie Reed Martindale; his sister Norma Harrell; his brothers-in-law, Willie Harrell and Doyle Thompson; and his granddaughter Macy Brooke Martindale.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Thompson Martindale of Ripley; his children, John Martindale (Monica) of Ripley and Donna Taylor (Kevin) of Saltillo; his granddaughters, Ava Martindale of Ripley and Kylie Meeks (Ethan) of Ripley; his nephews, Dan Harrell (Betty) of Ripley, Stephen Harrell (Ginger) of Macedonia and Toby Thompson of Baldwyn; his niece Pam Lancaster (Randy) of Ripley; his sister-in-law Lana Thompson of Baldwyn; his cousins, Rita Braddock (Andy) of Ripley and Mack McElwain (Jane) of Ripley; and his great grandchild Judd Meeks.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to a charity of choice in honor of Mr. Don.
