She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Peter and Kathernina Lechlmann Peter; her husband John W. Scruggs; her daughter Judy Carlisle; and her siblings, Elenore Schussler, Bernd, Uli and Siegfried Peter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Kidd of New Albany, MS, Ruby King of Tennessee and Kathy Kellerman of West Virginia; her grandchildren, Kellie, Jason, Elizabeth, Adam and Michael; and her siblings, Annelies Kretschmann of Germany, Anno of Germany and Franzel Peter of Germany. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care (608 West Bankhead Street At The Intersection Of, Hwy 30 W, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
