We are sad to announce that, on April 20, 2026, at the age of 92, James L. Bryan Sr. of Ripley, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Bryan and Linnie Pirl Call Bryan; his son James Lonnie Bryan, Jr.; and his siblings, Lela Mae Johnson, Virginia Lindsey, Willie Bryan of Gordon Bryan, O. G, J. Y. Bryan and Charlie Bryan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pat Hall of Blue Mountain, MS and Ginger Rogers of Ripley, MS; and his close friends, Billy Ayers, Linda Carr and Bobbie. He is also survived by his four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
