He is survived by : his children, James Dean, Jr. (Elizabeth Paige), Abby Dean of Ripley, MS, Haley Dean of Ripley, MS and Catlin Dean of Ripley, MS; his sister Patricia Gail Meade of Norton, VA; his stepsiblings, Ricky Rose of Coeburn, VA, Orban Rose of Coeburn, VA and Delores Rose of Wise, VA; his nieces, Brittney Gilliam and Chasity Roop of Norton, VA; and his grandchildren, Aubrey Bryant of Ripley, MS, Deonte Ickom of Houston, MS, Gianna Dean of Ripley, MS and Tulsen Dean of Ripley, MS..
