He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sanders and Ruth Sanders; his son Gregory Lee Sanders; his stepdaughter Amy Cooper; and his siblings, Shirley, Patricia, Carol Jean and Rufus.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Sanders; his son Nick Sanders (Ashley); his stepsons, Keith Cooper (Tina) and Michael Cooper (Shonna); and his siblings, Gladys and Cooter. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pate-Jones Funeral Home (4174 Hwy 51 S, Senatobia, MS 38668). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Longtown Cemetery (5398 Sees Chapel Rd, Crenshaw, MS 38621).
