With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanie Katheryn Reese of Ripley, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2025 at the age of 8. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Nerf; her grandparents, Joan Clark Wilkerson and Charles Reese; and her great-grandparent Charlene Reese. She is survived by: her mother Brandi (Wilkerson); her grandparents, Orville Wilkerson of Ashland, MS, Billy Joe and Julia Robbins of Ripley, MS; her aunts and uncles, Sandy, Drew Sanderson of St. Louis, MO, Ashlea, Steve Plaxico of Ripley, MS, Hannah and Barrett Ash of Potts Camp, MS; and her caregivers, Kaysie Barnes, Allysen Blankenship, Nashella Prather, Susan Tate, Chris Thistle, Morgan Vanlandingham and Lisa Mauney. She is also survived by nurses and caregivers.
