He is survived by: his sons, Tony Box (Sara) of Ripley, MS and Ricky Box of Ripley, MS; his siblings, Carlous Box (Judy) of Aliceville, AL, Jimmy Box (Dorothy) of Ripley, MS, Donna Stone of Guntown, MS and Lucy Leopard (Tommy) of Ripley, MS; his grandchildren, Tiffany Keenum (Ray Ray) of Falkner, MS, Kevin Box (Callie Jo) of Dumas, MS, Shelby Box (Megan) of Jumpertown, MS and Alex Russell (Chris) of Hinkle, MS; his great grandchildren, Whitney Keenum, Tiffany Keenum, Addison Keenum, Braylon Keenum, Kaitlyn Box, Alaina Box, Renlee Box, Della Jo Box, Bo Box, Luke Box, Waylon Box, Georgia Box, Colton Box, Mae Russell and Scarlett Russell; and his close friend Judy Bryan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
