We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2025, at the age of 93, Joe Lee Duncan Sr. (Ripley, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Joe Lee may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He is survived by: his mother Viola Duncan (Echols); his wife Bettye Lee Duncan (Skinner); his sons, Dr. Joe Lee Duncan Jr. (Beth) of Eupora, MS and J. Phillip Duncan (Lynda) of Starkville; his granddaughter Sara Grace Duncan; his daughter-in-law Judy Duncan; and his stepgrandsons, John McCord and William McCord.
