He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold C. Schaffhauser and Malissia F. Schaffhauser; his brother James A. Schaffhauser; and his sons, John A. Schaffhauser, Jr. and Michael Scott Schaffhauser.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey C. Schaffhauser; his children, Charles Schaffhauser of Marvell, AR, David Schaffhauser of San Miguel, Connie Salter of Memphis, TN, Melissa Childers of Walnut, MS and Elaine Abdelrahim of Grand Junction, TN; his stepdaughter Bonnie Croes of Seattle, WA; and his grandson Justin Carter of Middleton, TN.. He is also survived by numerous other grand children and great grand children.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bob Neal & Sons - Brickell Funeral Home (350 US 49, Marvell, AR 72366). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schaffhauser Cemetery.
