He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Chunn Short (Warren), Randy Chunn (Shellie) and Lisa Chunn Miller (Barry); his grandchildren, Robert Moffitt, Amy Pope (Braden), Konrad Short, John Daniel Moffitt (Angie), Kristen Witt (C. J.), Craig Chunn (Kaitlin), Rachel Queen, Jayce Null (Dustin), Callee Moody (Austin), Devinn Smullins and James Elijah Hill; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Short, Clara Short, Jabez Moffitt, Josiah Moffitt, Gabbie Moffitt, Dawson Short, Lyla Pope, Khloe Short, Max Moffitt, Annie Witt, Betsy Witt, Hudson Chunn, Maggie Witt, Mary Chunn, Brylen Null, Braxton Null, Hadleigh Graves and Brenton Null. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church (6777 MS-5, Hickory Flat, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church building fund.
