It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dewrell Shelton (Ripley, Mississippi), who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H Shelton and Gladys Michaels Shelton; his sister Carolyn Lewis; and his niece Lana Graves. He is survived by: his wife Pam Henderson Shelton; his daughter Ashlee Garrett (Adam) of Corinth; his siblings, Barbara Mauney (Kyle), Regina Studdard (Billy Wade), Paulette Childs (Gary Lee), Doc Shelton (Connie) of Tippah County, Lanny Shelton (Karen) of Tippah County, Donald Shelton (Angela) of Tippah County and Ronald Shelton of Henderson, TN; and his mother-in-law Betty Henderson of Iuka. He is also survived by niece, nephews, and many friends.

With this in mind, the family requests that everyone wear masks and social distance six feet.

The family request memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
