With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Plaxico Davis (Ripley, Mississippi), who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bro. Clyde; her parents, Ellis Edward and Rachel Inez Richardson Plaxico; her children, Nova Crum and Russell Davis; her brother Calvin Plaxico (Frances); her brother-in-law Larry Jackson; and her niece Mandy Plaxico.
She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Deaton (Darrick); her siblings, Debbie Jackson, Charles Plaxico (Jeanette) and Don Plaxico (Brenda); her grandchildren, Lydia Rowell (Mike), Chelsea Burns (Greg), Tanner Davis, Caleb Crum, Dillon Davis (Rebecca), Erika Davis (Dalton Hurley) and Kaitlyn Deaton (Joe Dawson); and her great grandchildren, Payslie Russell, Sykes Rowell, Paxon Russell, Waylon Davis, Cooper Rowell, Kayson Davis, Gregory Burns and Grayson Burns.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the New Life Mission Church (24531 MS-2, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
