She is survived by: her parents, Stanley Spells and Felicia Ross; her children, Tenesha Ross-Peterson of Walnut, Monique Ross of Memphis, Shontelle Ross of Ripley, Daidreana Loury of Ripley and Ivory Birmingham of Houston, Texas; her godchildren, Asharie Mitchell, Jimmira, Sidney Spells and Jadarrius Rutherford; her grandchildren, Shariyah Peterson, Amera Peterson, Roman Malone, Nas Cook, Ashanti Cook, Akeem Young, Tyla Young, Khalani Hill, Delilah Hill and Kartier Smith; her siblings, Latrice Hendricks, Eric Ross of Chicago, Antonio Spells, Charles Palmer of Chicago, Azell Spells of Chicago and Stanley Spells Jr.; and her grandmothers, Sallie Ross and Arnell Spells. She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ripley Second Baptist Church (709 N Adams St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
