It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula M Prather (Ripley, Mississippi), who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carter and Irene Carter; and her sister Gracie Mae Graham. She is survived by: her children, Antwan Ladale Carter Prather, Clifton Dewayne Prather (Belinda), Marcus Lee Williams and Danielle LeAnne Norwood; her grandchild Davida LeAnneMarie Norwood; and her sisters, Rosie Lee Carter of Ripley, MS and Mary Frances Fields of Mt. Juliet, TN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six Great-grandchildren.
