She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae Stagner Glisson and William Lee Earl Glisson; and her son Robert Jason Burns of Falkner, MS. She is survived by: her children, Billy Burns (Patricia) of Ripley, MS and Wanda Chessor (Greg) of Selmer, TN; her siblings, Tommy Glisson of Arkansas, James Glisson of Blue Mountain, MS, Leon Glisson of Dumas, MS and Ruby Woods of Booneville, MS; and her grandchildren, Robert Burns of Dumas, MS, Nicole Chapman of Florence, AL, Jamie Chessor of Charleston, WV and Kenny Chessor of Philadelphia, MS. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Life Pentecostal Church (749 W Cooper St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Pentecostal Church (1141 W Cooper St, Ripley, MS 38663).
