She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Nan Adams and John Earl McDonald; her grandparents, Mary Irene Maxwell McDonald, Henry Davis McDonald, A. Z. Adams and Dessie Lou Rucker (Tommy); and her siblings, Anthony Adams and Linda Jo Adams (Tomika Love).
She is survived by: her children, Vanna Tage Hobson, Tredarin Hobson and Marcurio Hobson (Amelia) of Ripley; her siblings, Amy Rogan of Ripley, Lori Strickland (Ken), Willona Strickland of Blue Mountain, MS, Rachel Irizarry of Riverview, FL., Steve Ray Adams of Ripley and Michael Rogers Adams of Blue Mountain, MS; and her fiancé Lewis Ray (Vickie Mitchell). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, many cousins who didn't treat her like a cousin, but as a sister.
