It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Janell Ammons (Ripley, Mississippi), who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe H Clemmer and Mamie Lee Reed Clemmer; her husband Walter G. Ammons; and her sister Nancy Mohundro. She is survived by : her children, Andy Clemmer (Renee) of Ripley, MS, Jim Johnson (Angie) of Ripley, MS and Ginger Bryant of Ripley, MS; her brother Danny Clemmer (Kathy) of Ripley, MS; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Clemmer (Ashley), Andrea Hebert (Harold), Brandon Bryant, Haley Reed (Austin) and Andy Johnson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
